Our scanning service offers superior slide scanning, photo scanning & negative scanning delivered on DVD.
For negatives and 35mm slide scanning we use the finest film scanner on the market today for professional use -- Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED, which offers 4,000 dpi true optical resolution, for superior-quality digital images. Combined with Kodak's DIGITAL ICE4™ Technology, crisp clear digital images of unmatched quality are free of dust, scratches and other blemishes that develop on film and negatives. DIGITAL GEM™ "Grain Equalization and Management," is a technology to remove the effects of film grain on high resolution scans. 
For photo scans we use the professional Epson Perfection® 4490 Photo, which delivers an astounding 4800 x 9600 dpi resolution, 48-bit color depth, and 4.0 Dmax, for intricate shadow detail. Combined with Kodak's award winning DIGITAL ICE™ technology, crisp clear digital images are free of dust and scratches.
We archive your 35mm slide, negative and photo scans to brand name CD/DVDs.
HOW OUR SERVICES WORK:
We like to keep in touch with our clients from the beginning to end. When we receive your order form we contact you via email to confirm the process date. When your order arrives we contact you to announce we have received it. It’s then cataloged, and placed in an individual sealed container to protect it from dust. When your order is complete we notify you and ship back to you your original media along with your high quality resolution disc and any other media you ordered.
35mm Slide/Negative Scanning
Pre-scan: We brush off surface dust on each 35 mm slide with a camel hair brush.
Post-scan: PicturePerfectScans does not leave the job of enhancement to automated processes. Each scan is reviewed in Adobe Photoshop CS2, where manual adjustments are made in TIFF format – every time a JPEG photo is edited it loses image quality. The images are rotated, and hand cropped to the edge of the picture. We make tonal range adjustments, reduce red eye, lighten or darken the picture, improve color balance and shadow enhancement.
Standard Scanning Prices are based on quantity and resolution, 2000 dpi, 3000 dpi, for slides and negatives.
For our clients who would prefer to do your own editing in Photoshop or other editing software our Basic Non-Enhanced Scanning is perfect for you.

PHOTO PRINT SCANNING:
PicturePerfectScans offers premium scanning services for print photos of any size up to 8" x 10".
